Monday Morning Madness

Good Morning everyone.Up earlier than usual today.Regular with french vanilla this morning.Glad to see Kristy is on the mend.Hopefully she will be home soon.Doctors appointment this morning and maybe hanging plastic.Haven't done much winterizing yet.It's pretty chilly and wet in these parts.
QOTD:Has anyone started holiday shopping yet?I haven't and one of my coworkers pointed out yesterday morning only two more months.Hard to believe actually.My hubby and I have made plans but no actual purchases yet.

Good Morning all!

I'm up, but I don't have to go to work!  Yeehaw!!  Little buddy has a doc appointment today, so that's what we're doing.  He's up and ready to go....doesn't understand our appointment is later this afternoon.

QOTD-I'm just about done.  Don't think that is some big accomplishment, though.  I don't have a lot to buy for.  Moody teenage son just wants gift cards, same with my sister's kids.  That only leaves our parents, and they always tell us to not get them anything.  Since we started our money makeover I don't overspend like I used to.  Actually, we're doing this again this year: https://www.adbusters.org/campaigns/bnd

It's Monday, again. Had a touch of the flu over the weekend, but feeling better today. Glad I don't have to work outside the home, today. Will be brewing my usual decaf and black.
QOTD-No Christmas shopping started as  my family is getting to the "gift card" stage. Colin, the grandbaby, will be more fun to shop for. Haven't bought toys for a really long time. Have something of a game plan but will get started pretty soon.....

Good Morning!  It's good to read that Kristy is doing better.  It's almost 8 and I've been at work for an hour already.  I love going in early but since I work 10 hour days it seems like I'm here so late too.  Hopefully today will go by fast.

QOTD: I haven't started my shopping yet.  Hubby and I haven't even really talked about it.  I usually go out on Black Friday but don't believe I will be this year.  We will have to see how I feel.  My surgery is the 16th so I don't know for sure how I will feel.  I definitely need to get started though.

Don't even try to go out shopping on Black Friday.  You may be feeling well, but you'll tire out oh so quickly.  Take the time to recover fully and then shop in December.

Up to let the Mr. Rooter guy into the garage.  He's out there in the rain digging up the front yard again.  By hand, poor guy.  When is this rain going to stop?  It's been a week already of constant rain, ick.
Going in to town today to buy a new microwave, mine died yesterday.  Decaf with vanilla caramel and vanilla protein powder this morning.
QOTD:  I've bought one present so far, for my poker buddy.  Don't have a clue what to get my kids, but I'll come up with something.  I also have my son's birthday on 12-12 too.  I can't even say that was poor planning, because he wasn't due until the first of February.

Hello all -

I'm sleepy this morning.  After a pretty bad allergy day yesterday ... and benedryl not touching the sneezing (again!) ... I relented and took some Unisome around 11:00 last night.  Basically it's the same thing as benedryl, except a mega dose and it always wipes out my allergy attacks.  BUT, it also leaves me foggy headed and very very drowsy the following day.  So, the sneezing has stopped, but I could use a nap. 

QOTD -- nope.  I'm not an early shopper.  I generally make a very detailed list of what each person is getting, where I can find it, how much it'll cost, etc.  Then, once the list is complete,  I do all my shopping in a single day.  And usually that shopping doesn't happen until a couple weeks before Christmas.

Good morning.  Had my coffee and some yogurt this AM.  Probably should have some more protein, but I really don't have anything other than eggs.  I made some yesterday, but couldn't eat them.  Ick.  Hubby took today off work.  He has a doctor's appointment with a new cardiologist, for a 2nd opinion.  Other than that, we are just hanging out with daddy! 
QOTD:  No holiday shopping here.  We are notorious last minute shoppers.  We don't have many to buy for, though, so that makes it easy.  I'm afraid Dub will be a bit spoiled, though!  LOL!  

Good Morning all. My eyes popped open this morning at 4:20 a.m. Let Winston (dog) outside, got my coffee with a dash of pumpkin pie spice along with half of packet of Splenda. Slightly over heated the brew, but I just keep on stirring. The taste is just OK. Trail and error for sure on making protein drinks.]   Jan I love your new pic, you look fabulous. WOW wtg!!   QOTD: Yes, I started my Christmas shopping last week. My two grandson's in TX are already done. The other six grandchildren I know what they are getting just have not picked it up yet. Our kids & spouses are getting together gifts. But I have no clue what were buying them. Were trying to cut back this year. On birthday's we did cut back. But hubby is terrible when it comes to Christmas and the little kids. So we will see how well we do on the cutting back thing.   Cheryl

Good morning, Michigan.  I woke up early too and couldn't get back to sleep.  I am struggling with keeping my appetite under control since my 2 CC unfill last week for GERD.  I have an appointment with my surgeon on Thursday and hope we can start refilling my band just a bit so I can get some restriction.  

QOTD:Has anyone started holiday shopping yet?  I have been buying from QVC-jewelry for my daughter mostly, although most of it will most probably go back.  I bought family gifts after Christmas last year, and if I can find them I will make baskets for each of my siblings' families.  I have a new friend/fiance' this year, and he will be the hard one to buy for.  I don't have a clue what to get and first Christmases are rough.
